The Story

IDENTITY - MEMORY - BECOMING

I paint garments that carry identity, memory, and the possibility of becoming.

A Western shirt, a hat, a jacket—sometimes they’re more than clothing. They change the way we stand, the way we move, the way we see ourselves. They carry identity, memory, swagger, and the courage to step into something bigger.

When I was younger, I wanted to be a rock star. I wanted the stage, the music, the feeling of becoming someone larger than life. That never happened the way I imagined it would.

Painting became my way back to that feeling.

Being an artist is the closest I’ve come to becoming that person—the risk, the expression, the refusal to disappear into the background.

That’s what I see in these garments. Not just fabric, but presence. Not just clothing, but transformation.

Portraits without faces of who we were, who we want to be, and who we’re still trying to become.
